Nigel Wright - Venture Associate
Nigel Wright is the Co-Founder of Grand Delusions Media Group, an entertainment company with a focus in motion picture and television financing and production. Before devoting his three year process towards shaping the company in 2015, he devoted a majority of his time making short films throughout his high school career at the Lawrenceville School into his years at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. With the success of his scripts circulating within the realms of high profile actors and talent agents at CAA and ICM, Nigel made his first independent feature film Living With Everyone, about a young man’s trials and tribulations in an age dominated by social media. Not only was he proactive in the film and television industry early on, Nigel has managed and briefly collaborated with singer- songwriters and producers catching the attention of Atlantic Records and Warner Brothers Records. Nigel has also interned for Northwestern Mutual and Standard International Group. His acumen in both film and finance has allowed Nigel to progress as an executive producer — mastering a film sales pitch, and using his knowledge to have a better understanding of how to package and sell films to investors. Grand Delusions Media Group has previously been accepted into incubator programs such as Tech Hub, a global community for tech-entrepreneurs and startups. He currently has three feature films and one television show in development. As a writer/producer, in May 2018, Nigel served as a co-writer for Don Lemon’s (CNN) commencement speech for Clark Atalanta University. Nigel’s mission is to build a platform for new visions and new voices; and to blur the line between what is real and what is imaginary in the media and entertainment space.
